This wedding weekend was an absolute dream! We absolutely adore Niyomi, Sarav and their family. Niyomi + Sarav chose to have their wedding in Nashville, Niyomi's parents live in Nashville and this is where she grew up. In searching for a venue that would accommodate their large guest list of family and friends they fell in love with The Estate at Cherokee Dock.
This beautiful property offers so much more than a beautiful canvas for a weddings and events, they have amazing guest rooms that housed many of their family members who came from India for the wedding. It was just perfect!
The wedding weekend festivities started with festivities at the parents home and then the guests arrived at the Estate at Cherokee Dock for the Mehndi ceremony. How beautiful are these wardrobe pieces?! All of the wedding wardrobe was hand picked by the bride and her mother and custom made in India. The henna artist did a beautiful job with her intricate designs for the Mehndi.
The Friday night before the wedding there was a special Sangeet which simply put is a party! A celebration before the celebration, and you better believe this family celebrated to the max! Several groups of family members even choreographed special dances and performed them at the Sangeet celebration.
Luckily thanks to The Estate at Cherokee Dock many of the guests slept at the venue in their guest rooms and were ready for the excitement of the next day… Niyomi + Sarav's wedding day! This day started with a morning ceremony the weather the entire weekend was absolutely perfect! The baraat took place down the drive way towards the front of the house and off to the side near the stable house. The groom Sarav, decided to have a corvette instead of a horse for his baraat ceremony which made it extra unique! The baraat ended in front of this beautiful floral arch where the group of guest gathered to give their well wishes and dance with the groom.
The ceremony took place under a mandap that our design team constructed in just 2 hours! Wow! We have such an awesome team. It made for the perfect backdrop for this beautiful wedding ceremony.
After the ceremony guests were provided a wonderful lunch and everyone got ready for the evening festivities! The reception took place lake side under a beautiful tent. The design for this wedding was elegant, romantic and whimsical and The Estate at Cherokee doc was the perfect canvas to make this design a reality.
The colors included, ivories, soft blushes, greenery, and touches of gold.
This wedding was certainly one of a kind and we are so happy to have been a part of it! To see more of this breathtaking wedding click here!
