Travel with me to relive my recent trip in the land of fairytales created by volcanic eruptions and erosion. This historical town is made up of towering rock formations, known as “fairy chimneys” around the world.

Cappadocia is located in central Turkey, a region created by the erosion of soft layers of lava and ash from ancient volcanic eruptions of Mount Erciyes, Hasandag, and Gulludag. Over millions of years, rain, wind, and ice have sculpted these layers into the surreal landscape we see today.

⌚️ Best Time to Visit: Cappadocia is a year-round destination, but the best times to visit are during spring (April to June) and fall (September to November) when the weather is pleasant and the landscape is at its most vibrant.
🎈 Hot Air Balloon Ride: This is a must-do activity. Book your ride in advance, as it’s very popular and can fill up quickly. You get up early in the morning, and it’s worth seeing the sunrise!
