Tip 26: You Can't Control Everything

On May 3, 2010, Nashville flooded. I was at my desk when calls, texts and pictures were pouring in on my phone from vendors who were stuck at the same venue. It was for a bride who interviewed me but didn’t end up hiring a planner. In hindsight, I am so thankful! There’s a lot of things you can control as a planner—but not mother nature.
