In the event industry, we often work at venues that are public spaces and have to plan around late load ins and setting up around tourists. We are accustomed to these situations, especially in Nashville with all of the museums and tourists attractions in town, but sometimes we still have surprises on the day of the setup.
Podcast Episode 46: First, Research Cultural Backgrounds
In this week’s episode, my lead consultant Alison and I share a story from working at a venue that was open to the public, and when we arrived the day of the event, there was a surprise waiting for us in the middle of the ceremony site! And best of all, it was for an Indian wedding and affected the direction their ceremony would face, which is extremely important in Indian culture. Tune in to hear what happened!
