Unless you're living under a rock 🧗🏼‍♀️, I know you have heard all the rage about making money in your sleep 🛌, which seems a little beyond crazy, because all I've ever known in owning a business is that I need people to be able to sell my service.

But what if you could turn that service into sharing your stories 📖and your knowledge on the internet?

Back in 2014 I was helping a friend open his new venue and he saw how much I worked… constantly… the phone calls, text messages, emails… my blood pressure is rising just thinking about it!!! That's when I learned that there was another way, a different way, a better way, did I mention there's a much smarter way…

There happened to be a conference that weekend in LA and he invited me to hop on a plane ✈️and come along (which normally back then I was booked every single weekend) so it was a God thing, I was with the right person at the right time.

My eyes 👀, my world 🌍, my everything that I have always known was out the window, I was introduced to a whole new world that I didn't even know existed!

In 3 days, 72 hours, with barely any sleep 😴I dove in to learn a completely different industry called “The Info Product World”. Now before you jump to conclusions of the QVC, late night, as seen on tv commercials… “But wait there's more!”… Keep an open mind 🧠.

In a room filled with 4,000+ people and the stories they were sharing with their success and how they were saying they were literally making money 💵while they were sleeping, I thought that was a slang term, I didn't know that was really even possible. But it is…

Now, it's definitely not easy and it definitely doesn't happen overnight 🌘, but I can promise you that with determination, if you have a message to share that solves someone's problems, this is very possible.

Let's rewind ⏮for a sec and the first step is to start documenting how you can help, how I started, I literally opened a google doc and I started going to my calendar (my iCal, not my paper planner, because my car 🚘 was broken into, my purse 👜was stolen, and my planner… gone forever). Voice dictating stories of how crazy things happened with clients, how I handled it, how I led my team and what we would have changed.

Even if you can't fathom sharing or selling your knowledge, at least start documenting your stories (for goodness sakes please do it in a google doc, a video or a note that is backed up in the cloud!)
