In 2002, Erin Bedard, 21, had only one year left as an undergrad at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn., when she took a summer job on a ranch in Wyoming. It was there, while working as a cook, that she met wrangler Kyle Neal, then 23, who had just graduated from Birmingham-Southern.
