A few things that stood out in our minds from this event, were the ceremony music and the fabulous reception menu. Caitlyn and Robbie married at Second Presbyterian Church where Capitol Brass provided an amazing musical experience for their guests. Rarely do we use an all brass quintet, but just to name a few of these great songs – “Oh Mio Bambino Caro,” “Simple Gifts,” “Sheep May Safely Graze,” and “Horn Pipe.” So, if you're looking to add a little something extra with a twist, definitely check them out.
The menu provided by TwoTwentyTwo Catering at The Country Music Hall of Fame was an eclectic combination of Caitlyn's Italian heritage and Robbie's love for Southern comfort food. Here are a few of the mouth watering items – Our favorite passed hors d'oeuvre were the grilled cheese sandwiches cut into an “F” to symbolize the couple's new last name, which was accompanied by an outstanding Tomato-Basil Bisque. Beef Lasagna and Italian Sausage-n-Peppers were also a huge hit with the guests, along with some Southern Molasses-Glazed Ham and Biscuits.
Husband and wife team, Bill and Lesli Emmetts of Divine Images, captured the story for Mr. & Mrs. Franklin. Their creative photographs tell the story of the entire day and all of the details that made this event so memorable.
