Your job is what you make of it. Over the past 15 years of planning, I have learned it can be stressful, yes, but why let it get to you? If you are passionate about your work and serving your clients, you should not think about the stress and let it ruin you. If I really stop and think about what all I am responsible for as a planner and coach, yes, I might feel stressed, but I don’t let it get to me. My clients drive me each day to get excited about what I can offer and how I can help. If you plan ahead and communicate accountability to your team, an event should run smoothly. Sure, things come up, but with a positive attitude and a great team, anything can be accomplished.
