I was hired to plan a wedding over 4th of July weekend. My client decided to have a welcome party at a new hotel the night before (that I had no involvement with). It ended up being a nightmare situation, and my client went online and blasted the place with bad reviews. I got a call from an angry hotel manager threatening a slander lawsuit against my client! Even though it wasn’t my fault, there are valuable lessons in today’s tip.
