During a final vendor meeting, I was meeting with the bride, her mother, and the lighting vendor. The vendor explained the logistics of placing sandbags on lighting stands for safety, and the mother began crying, saying that she didn’t understand how she was spending so much money for an elaborate wedding that would have sandbags.
