Why You Should Start Paying Attention to the Longevity Conversation

There are certain topics that seem to come up everywhere you turn. Right now, in my world, longevity is one of them. If you took a look at my feed, it’s filled with biohacking tools and wellness data and yes! Some dancing!

A few years ago, most conversations around health focused on weight loss, fitness goals, or what supplement everyone was taking. Today, the conversation feels different. More people are asking bigger and better questions.

How do you maintain your energy as you get older? How do you stay sharp mentally? How do you continue building a successful career, supporting your family, traveling, and enjoying life without feeling completely depleted in the process?

The older we get, the more people realize that success means very little if you don't feel well enough to enjoy it. And that wake up call for me was when COVID hit and the hospitality industry went down. I realized I wasn’t really living life. I didn’t feel good anymore.

You can have a growing business, a full calendar, meaningful relationships, and exciting opportunities, yet still feel like you're constantly trying to catch up with your own energy. You may find yourself pushing through brain fog, poor sleep, stress, recovery challenges, or simply not feeling as vibrant as you once did. The problem is that many of us have accepted those things as normal.  It’s not ok. I did it too until I was forced to stop.

For some, it’s too late. But when you make a commitment to never ever wanting to feel a certain way again and you get a second chance, the discipline kicks in! And when you are a better person to yourself, you are a better leader to others. That’s where impact lives.

My own personal wellness journey is only one of the reasons I've become increasingly interested in the conversations happening around longevity, prevention, recovery, and proactive wellness. Not because I want to live forever, but because I want to feel my best and have the most fun while I'm alive.

Why This Summit Matters

So for an event planner of over two decades who is obsessed with wellness, it’s like a dream having the opportunity to collaborate and work directly with Next Health on launching their first Longevity Summit, happening in my home town on September 12, 2026, at the Conrad in Nashville TN.

The team at Next Health is bringing together physicians, wellness experts, entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders who are helping shape the future of health and longevity. The focus is on practical conversations around prevention, energy, recovery, performance, and understanding what is possible when you become more proactive about your health.

Learn from experts who are helping people make informed decisions about how they live, work, recover, and age.

More Than Just Another Wellness Event

What I appreciate most is that the summit is designed for real people living real lives. You don't have to be a biohacker. You don't have to spend hours researching the latest wellness trend. You simply have to be curious about how to feel better, recover better, and show up as the best version of yourself.

If you've ever wondered what longevity actually means, if you've been curious about wellness technologies and recovery modalities, or if you've simply reached a point where feeling good matters just as much as achieving your next goal, this is a conversation worth paying attention to.

Meet the Experts

They have a high caliber of speakers participating in this year's event. The lineup includes respected voices across wellness, performance, prevention, medicine, and human optimization.

Beyond education, the summit will also create opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals who are asking many of the same questions you may be asking yourself: How do I protect my energy? How do I improve my health proactively? How do I continue performing at a high level without sacrificing my well-being in the process?

Opportunities to Attend or Partner

If you own a wellness, health, hospitality, lifestyle, or fitness brand, there are also opportunities to become involved as a summit partner. As the event continues to grow, it is shaping up to be one of the most unique wellness experiences happening in the South.

Whether you're looking for new ideas, meaningful connections, trusted wellness resources, or simply a new perspective on what it means to live well; this event will offer you that and more.
