How to Use TikTok for Business
If you're wondering how to position your brand on TikTok, you're in the right place. The awesome thing about TikTok is keep it simple. It is short form content, meaning 15 seconds can go a really long way. Keeping it simple means one topic, one story, and one hook, or call to action. Our attention spans are so short these days. So the shorter the better. You've got to talk fast, effective and be relatable. A feature to look for, depending on what type of account you have is the q&a feature. Potential customers can ask you questions, which gives you ideas on content to create, it's an opportunity to educate your potential client, which means sales. Now there's two types of content that you want to consider. Number one, evergreen, meaning it's going to last for quite a while, at least 24 months, that is stand alone content. But no matter what's going on, and trending in the world, your content remains relevant. And the second type of content is trending content, tap the little magnifying glass in the bottom left hand corner of the app, you're going to want to check it out and see what's trending such as challenges, songs, or hashtags. This is what mainly makes up the fyp page (the for you page). I've seen businesses go viral overnight and blow up on TikTok, it is a real thing. So if you want the opportunity to blow up, you got to start creating, you also want to think about audio. You can use your own audio, or someone else's audio. You can do it natively within the app or externally outside of the app and upload it into the app. You're also going to want to look for classic songs and trending songs and use a mix of both now before you post search the hashtags that your potential client or customer would be searching for and you want to use the hashtags that they would search think like a marketer but act like a creator. Now if you spend half the time creating content then scrolling you have the opportunity to get your brand seen on TikTok!
