Headed to Italy? I’ll be heading back in the fall for another special event, and as we start planning I went back to my notes of the last time that I went to Italy last fall, and reminisced about the awesome experience we had.

There are a lot of activities to explore that you won’t want to miss out on in Ischia. Most likely, when you think of Italy, you think of images of picturesque villages nestled in the hillsides, vibrant colors and friendly people come to mind. However Ischia, a volcanic island located in the gulf of Naples, Italy— is much more than a beautiful postcard destination. This island is packed full of activities that will appeal to you if you are looking for an adventure for your special event, wedding, company retreat, family reunion, and etc. From wine and local cuisine tastings to exploring history, there is always something for everyone.

It has long been my passion to bring education to the wedding and events industries, specifically in the luxury space. It is my goal to build not only a wonderful event, but create an experience with memories that last. I have been so honored to be a part of a wonderful journey alongside Monica Balli, the global coordinator of the International Event Certification— and countless amazing wedding and event professionals aiming to bring a streamlined certification program to the luxury wedding and event space.

Over the past year, myself and our group of luxury wedding and event professionals— who I like to call my travel family, have been traveling the globe and sharing our mission to build a certification that can be used across the world and ensures a quality experience.

The Aim Of The International Event Certification

The aim of the certification is to create a proven professionality through international standards. Country Partners and Examiners with proven credibility and the highest professional standards from around the world.

The power and strength of our certification, in its essence, lies within its Country Partners and its Apprenticeship Partners. Together with AJA Europe, we’ve created the first certification with partners, valued and celebrated for both their professional and personal excellence. 

IEC aims at internationally acknowledging professionals’ quality, thus creating a community of networking, apprenticeships and growth. 24 countries are represented by 17 international professionals of undisputed fame, enrolled as Country Partner Examiners, plus another 100 leading international partners for post-exam apprenticeship programs.

To be stressed that IEC is not a course: it is a professional certification guaranteeing the skills’ compliance to the standards set by Aja Europe Group and its partners. The aim of IEC is not to sell courses but to verify whether or not the candidates know how to carry out an event in every detail of its design, planning and implementation.

IEC is certified by the AJA Europe Group, an organization based in numerous countries around the world, holding many accreditations and/or awards through related companies. It operates through a network of local offices managed and coordinated by the Group itself. The local offices are responsible for assessment and implementation of economic and financial relationships with client organizations.
