Angela is amazing. There is no way that our wedding weekend would have been as fantastic if it wasn't for her. First off, she has about 100000 ideas. At the beginning it was overwhelming, but after some time, when I had more of an idea of what I wanted, it was easy to bounce ideas off her and hone in on what we could do. Second, she is amazing with vendors. I'm so glad I never had anyone call me to ask for $ or directions or where to park. She handles it all, I never had to worry. She's also really good at dealing with conflict, both when there was conflict between my parents and me about wedding planning ideas and general conflict when dealing with the bridal party, divorced parents, hurt feelings, etc. The day of the wedding, she had a huge crew with her, which took a little while to get used to since they often came by to make sure my husband and I were doing ok. They even got us food and drinks, which at first, we didn't really understand, but as the night went on, it made a lot of sense since we were usually stuck talking to someone, but we were always taken care of! Angela knows how much time and effort we put into planning all of the events, so she always made sure that my parents, husband and I had some alone time in the room to soak in everything before the events began. That was such a good idea. Oh man, I could go on and on and on. She came up with so many different ways to use things (which weren't that expensive) to really make each event unique. Her first order of business is budgeting, which I thought was great. She doesn't even take credit cards, because she doesn't want weddings to lead to debt! Angela is great – I met with 3 other wedding planners and she just knew so much, had worked with the venues I had booked, had so many ideas in the first 5 minutes of meeting with her that I knew with her, our wedding would be in good hands. Sometimes, she seems to be unresponsive to emails, but that's only because her life is so busy. Expect responses to emails about 1 or 2 in the morning =)
