I am so honored to have recently been chosen to represent the United States at the Destination Wedding Peanuts Conference in Rome, Italy, alongside 5 other top wedding planners from around the world including Fabrice Orlando (Cocoon Events), Kevin Lee, Frank Damgaard (Monte Carlo Weddings), Elie Berchan and Franc of Weddings by Franc.

During the conference we visited many beautiful venues and I want to say a special thank you to Maria at Villa Spelletti Trivelli for hosting us, I absolutely loved our stay there! Also Melia hotels who hosted the conference.

Some of my favorite properties we visited include Baglioni Hotel with Leading Hotels of the World, they have my favorite restaurant of the trip at this property, Brunello Restaurant.

At Hotel De la Ville in Rome we were surprised with an amazing spa treatment in the most amazing spa, perfect for all of us who travel a ton! It started with time in their salt cave, quick ice baths and ended with a massage, so relaxing! We also had an amazing dinner with Ben pictured above at their restaurant Mosiaca.

During the conference the Italian Wedding Star Awards were held, where I was the USA Ambassador for luxury weddings. The awards were held at Cinecitta World. Attended by over 200 guests, the awards aimed to celebrate the excellence of the Italian wedding industry.

This conference would not have been possible without Monica Balli organizer and one of the biggest, most original and creative event designers and wedding planners in Italy. Based in Florence, Italy she works all over the world but has one main goal: bringing the world to Tuscany.
