I keep getting the question❓over and over about where to even start, how to even begin 🤷🏼♀️ to get control of your time?
So, I'm going to tell you exactly how I started… As much as I dislike paper 📝, I do think it is needed for this exercise (or if you have a whiteboard). Make 2 columns, things that you HAVE to do and things that you ARE DOING but really someone else could do them with a defined process?
Get another piece of paper, make 2 columns, look at your calendar, what are you saying YES to that you REALLY want to do, and what are things that you say YES to but you DON'T want to do them?
This is the first exercise that helped me start to identify 🔍how I need to be spending my time, what I should be saying yes to and WAAAAAYY MORE importantly what I should be saying NO 🚫to.
I know this seems so simple and so elementary, but when you actually take the time to write ✍🏻these things down and go through the process you start to be more aware of your time.
