Thinking of including your 4 Legged Family during your big day? Here's some tips below to make having your furry friend with you a bit easier for you and your pup.
*Always have someone assigned to take care of your furry friend to make sure they are comfortable and have all they need during the day.
*Decide what part of the day you would like your dog(s) to attend. Commonly dogs are included in ceremonies, some may want their pups with them while they get ready or either cocktail hour, but be sure to have a plan for when your dog will be present and when they will be with their dedicated guardian for the day.
*Check first to make sure that the venues you choose for your wedding allow dogs. Many have a strict no pet policy but many with allow dogs who are ESA (Emotional Support) certified.
*Make sure that you tell your wedding party of your intentions before the day. Many people are allergic to dogs, so giving them ample warning will help them prepare if they suffer from allergies.
*Rehearse as much as you can with your dog before the big day and leave ample time to practice during the actual rehearsal so that your dog and their assigned guardian knows exactly what to do and when to do it.
*Take a trip to the grooming parlor or wash and groom your dog at home so that they look and smell amazing on the big day.
*Do not forget to include your dog in your photo list! The best way to remember those special moments!
