Redefine the Way You Work With This Ultimate Productivity Reset

Hi GSD Leader! 👋 If you’re like most high performers, you’re used to pushing through. Back-to-back meetings. Project to project. Rarely stopping long enough to recharge. But your greatest asset isn’t your time or your talent, it’s your energy.

You can’t pour from an empty cup. And you definitely can’t lead from one.

That’s why more companies are rethinking how work gets done, and why corporate wellness is now being recognized for what it truly is: a performance strategy.

Why This Reset Matters for Your Team

Burnout is both deeply personal and incredibly costly. Chronic stress is one of the leading drivers of absenteeism, disengagement, and turnover. Research from Gallup and the World Health Organization shows that burned-out employees are 63% more likely to take sick days and 2.6 times more likely to be actively job hunting.

Studies cited by Harvard Business Review and the CDC consistently report that companies investing in employee wellness see $3–$4 saved for every $1 invested through reduced healthcare costs and increased productivity.

But numbers only tell part of the story.

Behind every disengaged employee is a nervous system stuck in overdrive. Focus drops. Creativity stalls. Communication frays. Culture quietly erodes.

And this is personal for me. It took me almost dying to wake up and realize we only get one body and one life. You don’t get your energy back by pushing harder, you get it back by working differently.

That’s where experiential wellness changes everything.

How Framework Redefines Corporate Wellness

This shift actually started for me in a sauna.

I was hired by Shannen Stewart, founder of Heels and Handshakes, to moderate her annual board meeting. The first half of the day looked like most leadership meetings;  whiteboards, strategy, full board participation. But for the second half, Shannen asked something unexpected: “Would you be open to doing the planning session at the spa where we’re hosting?”

Normally, I’d be in a boardroom surrounded by sticky notes. This time, we brought our work into the steam room at Southall. We used tools like Granola and the PLAUD device to record our conversations, uploaded notes and photos into ChatGPT, and reviewed takeaways while moving between steam, sauna, and recovery. Even during manicures and pedicures.

And something shifted.

The conversation deepened. The nervous system slowed down. Creativity opened up. Decisions became clearer. After that meeting, we shared it on social media and it exploded. Clients started asking, “Can we meet like that?” Cold plunges. Saunas. Walking meetings. Hyperbaric chambers.

One of the first personal changes I made was inviting clients to meet me at Framework.

By integrating sauna therapy, cold plunges, and guided recovery techniques into the workday, Framework helps teams reset their nervous systems, sharpen focus, and operate from clarity instead of chaos. Instead of asking employees to “do more” after hours, wellness happens while work is happening.

That’s when it becomes sustainable.

What Your Team Will Experience

Through facilitated corporate wellness sessions, teams experience how small, intentional practices can create meaningful shifts in performance and well-being:

❤️ Improved cardiovascular health and resilience
🔥 Natural energy boosts without stimulants
🌿 Reduced stress and anxiety through nervous system regulation
😁 Better mood, focus, and communication
💪 Faster recovery from travel, long hours, and mental fatigue

And here’s the part people don’t expect… they actually enjoy it.

Most people show up curious. They bring a bathing suit “just in case.” Some try everything. Some observe. And that’s okay. What people quickly realize is that it’s not about being hot or cold, it’s about learning how to stay calm inside discomfort.

When you train your breath, your mind, and your nervous system in controlled stress, you become more grounded everywhere else. In meetings. In leadership. In life. That’s been my personal experience, and I’ve watched it happen again and again with teams.

Why This Works for Leadership

When leaders prioritize wellness, it sends a powerful signal: we value sustainable performance.

That decision ripples outward. Teams feel supported instead of depleted. Trust and engagement increase. Retention improves. Productivity becomes proactive instead of reactive. A healthier, more resilient culture starts to form. Not because of mandates, but because of modeling.

Wellness moves teams forward with intention. But it always starts with leadership.
