Episode 4: Your Backup Plan Needs a Backup Plan: What Freezing Weather in May Taught Us
I know I don’t need to tell you about having a plan for bad weather during outdoor weddings, but sometimes the weather is so unpredictable that even the backup plan you had in place isn’t enough. This happened to us during a late spring wedding in Nashville. We planned for rain and wind, but not the weather dipping to freezing temperatures.
Combining resourcefulness, determination and a little bit of technology, the team pulled off a beautiful (and warm) wedding. The experience taught us a valuable lesson about how to react to the unexpected and how to go the extra-mile to make sure our clients have the event of their dreams.
